Helping the Gingerbread Family Cross the River to Get to Our School

We made a river.

We decided to create a bridge.

The gingerbread family could cross the river safety.

We tried several boats. This one worked.

This caddie boat worked too.

The lego boat leaked a lot. The gingerbread family had to try one of the other ways to cross the river.

Gingerbread Man Activity - Predictions and Conclusion

We read many versions of the gingerbread character stories.
We decided to do an experiment. We wondered what would happen if the gingerbread man got away from the fox and tried to swim over the river. Would me make it?
The gingerbread man jumped into the river.

After 10 minutes he was falling apart.

After 20 minutes he was mush. The gingerbread man better find a better way to get across the river.

We tasted a gingerbread man cookie and then graphed which body part we ate first.

Most children in our class ate the head first.

Snowman Measuring Sticks

Today we measured our new fallen snow with our snowman measuring sticks. We had 4 inches of snow.
